sitting on my kitchen table is a pile of bills and a trash bag full of dirty laundry. a morbid smell is wafting from the fridge when you open it (and i cleaned it before we left i swear) and don't forget the two exhausted children freezing to death in our 48* house.
i wish i would have blogged while on vacation, because now that it's over it's all a blur. doesn't help either that we all got sick the last 3 days at my mom's.
i will post highlights with photos in the next few days to come. for now we are trying to figure out how to live like church mice on our student loans and make them last till june. ack.
ps- our baby turns 2 a week from today. wowzas.

Ya it sucks coming back to reality doesn't it?
We've been sleeping like crazy trying to fight this cold bug the last two days. I can't believe how tired we all were from the past two weeks of just going and going! :)
It was sure fun to see you guys though. It already feels like it was too long ago.
Good luck warming up your house, we came home to fozen toilet water once. And oh, do we know all about living off loans that don't last long enough for the student they're meant for, let alone their wife and babies! Yes, poor as church mice is right - the story of our lives the last (too many) years. Hope you can all adjust quickly and get into a good groove!
Just be glad that you don't have to pay off the loans till after graduation! I think we'll be paying on ours til were 60!
